Virtual therapy — wherever you are

You don't have to navigate this alone.

A Guidance for Change offers psycho-educational and counseling services for youth, young adults, and adults — through individual sessions, groups, workshops, trainings, and specialized assessments that build mental, spiritual, and community strength.

"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

Ephesians 4:22-24

Our Mission

Psycho-Educational Services for Youth & Young Adults

AGFC is an organization that provides Psycho-Educational services to enhance the mental health of youth and young adults. These services will provide a deeper understanding of the impact on mental and spiritual enhancement on daily lives. These services will be provided in several different settings and formats such as small groups, individuals, enrichments, and parenting. AGFC is dedicated to advocate for social change and empower the next generations of leaders. AGFC believes that this will in turn strengthen their abilities to service our community.

Our Goal

A Healthy, Spiritual, Safe, and Confidential Environment

To provide a healthy, spiritual, safe, and confidential environment to help youth and young adults to develop an awareness of their impact on this world. This will be accomplished by addressing issues that are causing them to become distracted. AGFC will offer small group settings to address anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, and lack of resources, career readiness, and many other daily issues for youth. AGFC will also assist with parenting skills for young parents and individuals that have been identified as lacking parenting skills that can impact youth's mental and spiritual health.

Our Objectives

How We Serve

  • 1

Assess each youth to identify areas of weakness and strengths as related to growth and development.

  • 2

Assist youth with developing manageable goals to strengthen weakness.

  • 3

Provide small group and individual service to address goals and skill building.

  • 4

Provide motivational groups and individuals to enhance youth's strengths and coach them to help others and make positive decisions.

  • 5

Provide mentoring services to the youth and young adults in the community.
